Coach Liu

Welcome, I'm Megan Liu and this is my 6th year at Rice Middle School! I'm the Girls Athletic Coordinator and teach Girls Athletics, PE, pre-athletics, and our new course Future Ready.

I grew up through the Plano system and am so excited to be back as a teacher! I recently graduated from Texas A&M University studying to graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, and a certification in Physical Education for grades K-12. Class of 2019, WHOOP!

I have a passion for kids to learn how to be confident in themselves inside and out of the gym. The relationships I teach my students to build with each other will hopefully remain with them as they grow older and graduate. I believe that the gym can build these kinds of relationships because many physical activities that interest kids today involve awareness of the people around influencing teamwork. Outside of school, I love my family, eating, traveling, disney & trying adventurous activities!
